Send an email to account-security-help@cc.yahoo-inc.com from your alternate email address and let them know the last time that you were able to access your account. You should receive an auto response asking for for more information including :

The process will take longer over the phone than by using the link above. You may be asked for personal information such as faxing Yahoo a copy of your drivers license to prove your identity. Even though it takes longer, Yahoo should be able to help you regain control of your e-mail account.
After you get back access to your account -
Verify/update your password reset information within the account information settings including your alternate email addresses, cell phone numbers, and security questions and answers!
